Te'keya Carter puts the ART in ARTlanta! Te'Keya Carter is a visual artist from Atlanta, GA that specializes in acrylic and oil paintings. She studied art and psychology at Georgia Southern University in 2012 where she discovered her love for painting. Passionate about the arts, the move from Statesboro to Atlanta was a natural fit. She began showcasing her art at shows in Atlanta, which inspired her to curate her own solo art show in 2016. As of now Te'Keya studies psychology and human services. With dreams of obtaining her Masters in Fine Arts to become a college painting professor. She believes creativity is the absence of fear. Te'Keya continues to create and inspire people to be weird.
